Target Racing enters McLaren Trophy Europe for two car attack

Italian team Target Racing will enter two cars in McLaren Trophy Europe this season. The team has had a strong run of success in Lamborghini Super Trofeo, winning six titles between 2019 and 2025, but for 2026 they will turn their attention to a new challenge.

The Lugo, Northern Italy-based team are geographically well placed for this year’s calendar, with the two races in Italy, including one at Misano just over an hour away from the team's headquarters.

"We are delighted to embark on this new adventure with McLaren,” said Team Principal Roberto Venieri. "For Target, this marks the beginning of a new journey of challenges that will see us compete on Europe's most prestigious tracks alongside a brand that has made motorsport history."

The driver line up and car liveries will be announced in due course, but the team are the first of many new entrants into the championship as it looks to set new grid number records in only its fourth year of competition.
